Alfred A. de Lorimier, a groundbreaking pediatric surgeon and founder of de Lorimier Winery, died Oct. 4 of lung cancer at his Alexander Valley home. He was 78. He was also a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed.
